By submitting your software, you agree that:

1. We will send you an email when your product is added or updated
2. We may send you a promotional or advisory email once every two months
3. We may include your software on a CD with software from other publishers

Submission Form

(usually has a .XML extension) Ensure that your PAD files contain the PADGEN Affiliates Extension, with ShareIt / RegNow / eSellerate / Plimus / etc. information filled in

Note: if your PAD file has moved, there is no need to resubmit. Just set the PAD XML File field of the old PAD file to the new PAD file location, and we'll pick it up automatically

What is PAD?

Portable Application Description (PAD) is an XML file format promulgated by the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP), an international software industry group based in the US.

The PAD format defines information about each software title such as the title and author, price and description, screenshot, information link, buy link and download link. The PAD standard is supported by more than two hundred software download sites, making it far easier to submit and update information automatically.

The ASP provides free PADGEN software for Windows to generate your own PAD files. For Mac users, see PADMaker for Mac.

Once generated, these files can be submitted to a number of download sites using a variety of tools. PAD can be extended, such as with the PADGEN Affiliates Extension.
